OMG!! 2 more days to the holidays!!! But somehow, I am sad.
This is all because I am going to be seperated from some of my bestest friends!!!! :( I will be going to 6.2 and most of my friends will be staying in 6.4!!! Alot of people say 6.2 is a pro class but I don't want to be pro!!
If I were to get 3 wishes, I would wish that we could stay together as an IT class. Another wish would be that I could still do well in my PSLE and of course the last wish is to be rich~.~$$!<-- ( Not very realistic!) Although we still have IT lessons and CCAs, its still not enough!!! I want to be sitting side-by-side, Xin Min, Kenix, Jamie,Le Yi, Natalie, Jie Yi,Hana, Cheryl, Jasmine and Cindy, (aiya, alot more lah) in class ! Well..... :'( I have nothing to say..... Just trying to keep this post long as my final farewell.... :'( So bye, Xin Min, Kenix, Jamie, Le yi.............etc. :'( Bye! Until we meet again! Bye! ( Can't stop saying Goodbye!)Bye! :'(

NE Show
On 11th July, I and my class went to the P5 annual NE Show! It was fantastic! We were supposed to be in school at 1:30pm, but I came early. We gathered in the hall. Once we were ready to get on the bus to Marina Bay, we got our goody bags and dinner which was Mcdonalds ( Apple pie & Chicken burger) The teacher in-charge of my class is Mr Khoo.
When we reached the esplanade, we had to walk all the way to the floating platform which took alot of time because there was alot of other schools were there too. Anderson Primary were then seated in the yellow sector where the seats, of course, are yellow.
While we were waiting for other schools to come, we were given leaders of different celebrities to manage us. There were the light and dark green sector whom was lead by Mark Lee, red and yellow sector by a person I do not know, light blue sector by a women that is popular in Singapore and of course dark blue by seargent dolah from "Police And Theif ". ( I do not know his real name)
After breaking the record of the Marina Bay, which was doing it faster then a car, the show started!!! It was funny and entertaining. It was about the story of Singapore, where they show the history of Singapore until now. Throughout the show, it drizzled and stopped and started again.
When there were fake gun shot with loud shooting sounds everyone in sight closed their ears and screamed. The fireworks was wonderful. Going off at the end of each chapter of story. This year's theme song,"What do you see" was also sung there.
Almost to the end of the show it started raining heavily while we were singing "Stand Up For Sinapore". I was all soaked. It was awfully cold but very fun. The performers did a good job cheering us up in the rain. We went home happily.
Oh yeah, our school also got into the newspaper!

Nicknames
Arrrgghh! I have enough of people calling me Gabrielle! Such a long name!! From now on call me Gaby. I cannot stand another second of classmates saying " Hey, Gabrielle ; Hi, Gabriella ; Oi Gabrielle!! Don't laugh at my nickname, understand!!?? Well..... it is better than Gab!! I have also edited my profile. If you have loads of time, go ahead and read it. It does not have alot of change though.

MOS Challenge
Happy Holidays!!!!! Anyway, I'm way sad about my MOS challenge results. I scored 545/1000! The passing mark is 650. So close to passing!!! And this is supposed to be the easiest MOS challenge!! But at least some people pass. It was quite difficult you know!!!

My P5 Camp ( Day 2&3 )
I woke up at about 5.30a.m. As I said, the beds were so uncomfortable! They were covered with plastic because it is new. So everyone in my room I slept in woke up early.We did not have to wait to brush our teeth. After our breakfast, we headed for the low elements first. But instead of doing them right away, other groups occupied the elements. So we wasted time sitting around, learning cheers while we waited. In the end, we did not even do anything. Next, we went rock climbing. I actually climbed the 3-storied high wall, but I only made it to the second floor! But, before the second climber, after me, got to climb, another group came. It turns out that we were in the wrong station.
Then we went to this place where the elements were like for army training. It was a few stories high. I did not dare to climb up the element.
After a very long wait, we went for lunch.
Next, we went abseiling. I did not want to go because I wanted to go on the flying fox. But it turns out that we did not go on it.
After all those high elements stuff, we went to rehearse on that day's night, campfire performance. Yes, that's right. We actually had to perform with only less then a day to rehearse!
Our group, along with the group members of Montral. We dance to the song 'All Star'. It turned out quite good.
After diner, we went for the campfire. We sang some campfire songs, see a huge fire in the middle of the field and see the instructor do movements to the song. We danced quite well but we did not win!
The next day, after breakfast, we cleaned up the whole campsite. Not exactly the whole place. Each group was assigned to different places. My group was unlucky. We were assigned to the girls toilet at the second floor of the rooms! But the good part is that there was nothing to clean there. So we were abit slack,watching over the railing, campers rushing here and there cleaning the areas! So thanks girls for not polluting the toilets!!!
Later, we had to board the bus that brings us back to school! I was so sad! This time, we sat in our class. So sad!!! I got autograghs of some instructors to remind me of this amazing camp!

My P5 Camp ( Day 1 )
My camp was just awesome! When I came to school on the first day of camp, I was so excited!! We first went up to the hall and got assigned in groups. This is the bad part. I got separated from my friends. In my group, I knew no one but, sadly, two boys from my class. :( I guess this camp is for us to make new friends. Our group instructor was Stephanie. My group name was Moscow. When we boarded the bus to the campsite, I was happy to see my friend from another group, Montral. On the bus, there were two instructors teaching us a few cheers.
At the campsite, we had to put our heavy bags in a hall. We gathered in groups and went to make our group flag and got to know each other better. After that, it was lunch time. We all had to take turns to do duty. And we had to wash our utensils with only 5 seconds on the clock!! But the fun started after lunch. We went to Sentosa! We took a bus there. We were going to have an Amusing Race over there, kind of like the Amazing Race. We were to travel around Sentosa with two tram rides and a bus ride to use during the race. Our instructors were to give us a clue every time we finished our tasks.
My group's first clue brought us to Dolphin Lagoon. Let me tell you that the clues were easy but the task, not so much. Our task was to play the Tug-Of-War in the sea with bumpers. Three people in a team. But two group members would not play. I wanted to play. There was horrible salty water in your eyes and mouth. And the worse part is that we DID NOT play Tug-Of-War! We just did a mini race with the bumpers! This made me mad. And we had no towel to dry our selves with!! We had to change into our extra shirts, all wet!( No shorts! At least we were told to bring an extra shirt!) I regretted wanting to play the game.
There were also road blocks. We had two. The first, we had to take pictures with three complete strangers and the second,we had to sing three different languages of the Happy Birthday song to strangers. We sung in English, Chinese and Cantonese.In the end, we did not complete all of the challenges.
We came back to the campsite and had been given rooms all mixed with different groups. There were mattresses on the floor and double-deckered beds. I had a bed and it was at the bottom. Then we got our bags into the rooms and got a cold and shivering bath. There were loads of people waiting to bathe, so everyone was given only 7 minutes. We had dinner then. During the night activity, there was one group member who was taken away from every group.We were supposed to rescue them. First, we were to send a search party for him while some people stayed behind to solve a puzzle. I stayed to solve the puzzle.We had to join boxes with the same number on it without crossing any lines we have drawn. We finished the puzzle first but we had to wait for our search party to come back first before we moved on. Then, when our search party came back, we headed downstairs to play some games so that we could find "kidnapped" friend.
We were supposed to play a game and guess a box number. Inside the box, there was a key that lead to our "kidnapped" friend. We kept guessing wrongly. Chief Eunice was in charge of the boxes. Seeing us come so many times, she gave us clues. Soon we found the two keys we were looking for.
We found our friend in a room just outside the hall, where we started. After finding our blindfolded friend, we had to guide him to downstairs with his blindfolds still on.My group wanted to carry him but go tired of the idea and just lead him normally.
It was supper time.Lights out was at 11.15p.m. I could not sleep until after midnight. Day 1 was exhausting

The Earth Hour
The Earth Hour is for you to vote. You have two choices:
1) save the earth by switching off your light for an hour
2) leave the lights on to vote for global warming
It's your choice on which you vote for, but I suggest saving the earth or else you have nowhere to go to.
The Earth Hour is held at 8.30pm, Saturday 28th March 2009 in Singapore. Please participate in this event to save the earth!
It is obvious that people are organising this event to help save the earth with our help because they care so much for earth!!!Everyone including malls, houses and even the merlion and the Singapore Flyer are going to switch off their lights just to help save the earth. During the Earth Hour it is going to be dark and boring. Maybe we could all get flashlights and camp on the floor!!! We also can tell ghost stories too!!! I know, crazy idea!! Other problem of the earth is terrible!! We could drown! Because of global warming, the sun melts all the icebergs at the poles. The icebergs become water and the the sea level rises just because of this! All countries may need dams in the near future too! Horrible, is it not?
Some People think that it is not much of a problem and continue to do things that is hurting the earth. This condition will not improve, but you can help us stop global warming. We could all stop global warming by not littering and not burning stuff. Please help save the earth because I SIMPLY just love it!!!
